Record number of Brazilian firms to attend ACLE

Brazil will have a record number of companies exhibiting at the 2012 edition of the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE). The fair, which takes place in Shanghai from September 4–6, will have 13 Brazilian tanneries among the exhibitors, supported by a special initiative called the Brazilian Leather Expansion Project.

The project is an initiative created by the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB), which for the past 55 years has been defending and promoting Brazilian leather in the domestic and international markets, and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).

In addition to tanners’ stands, the CICB stand at the Shanghai exhibition will have a preview lounge showcasing Brazilian leather, specially prepared for the summer 2014 fashion season.

Tanneries taking part are Agro Latina, America Leather, BR Leather, Coming, Curtume Cacique, Curtume Minuano, Euro-América International Freight Forwarders, Exportadora Bom Retiro, Gobba Leather, JBS, Kromatica, LDK-Liderkoll, Pacific Leather.
