Hanoi’s export turnover increased by 3.4% in June to $955 million.

Export revenues for the first half reached $4.8 billion, according to the Hanoi Statistics Office.

Eight of the 11 main export items reported rising turnover. However, leather and footwear exports were among the three that recorded a decline. Export turnover for the sector fell 16% in June.

The statistics show that the foreign invested sector registered an export value of $1.95 billion and the state-owned sector reported an export turnover of $1.93 billion.
