Zschimmer & Schwarz to show new fatliquoring agents at ACLE

Specialist wet end leather chemicals manufacturer Zschimmer & Schwarz will make a special point at this year’s All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) of displaying a wide range of leather articles produced using its chemicals from raw material that originated in China and other Asian countries. The exhibition takes place in Shanghai from September 4-6.

New Zschimmer & Schwarz products on show will include fatliquoring agents Pelgrassol A 70 and Pellastol KY.


Pelgrassol A 70, the manufacturer says, is suitable for all kinds of soft leathers, offering a high level of heat resistance, light fastness and fogging behaviour. The company recommends it for the production of leather for car upholstery, furniture, garment, nappa and all white and pastel coloured articles.

Pellastol Kyis intended mainly for sheepskin articles, in particular for all very soft leather types. Here too the levels of heat- and lightfastness will be high, Zschimmer & Schwarz claims. The product is a combination of synthetic and selected natural components, free of fish oils. It has a good softening effect and results in lightweight leathers.
