Representatives from the local council in Ma’anshan and management figures from Xiangxing oversaw the laying of a cornerstone for the leathergoods brand’s new production plan.

The new site in the Yuhui area of Bengbu city in Anhui province will require an investment of RMB2 billion ($314.2 million) and will open up 75 production lines. The plant is expected to have an annual production capacity of three million leathergoods and luggage items.

Xiangxing Group currently produces 57.5 million leathergoods and luggage items each year. Its leather products are sold in 80 countries and regions.
