Ferragamo fashion show held at Louvre
Italian fashion house and leathergoods designer Salvatore Ferragamo held a special catwalk show at the Louvre Museum in Paris on June 12. It was the first time the museum had ever hosted a fashion show.
Actresses including Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire) and Hilary Swank (Million Dollar Baby) attended the show, which took place in the Denon Wing arcade.
Creative director Massimiliano Giornetti said he aimed to
integrate French fashion techniques into his work, which featured cool cream
leathers alongside warmer honey-coloured skins, to complement the limestone surroundings.
