Stahl celebrates new support centres in Ethiopia and Bangladesh

Leather chemicals manufacturer Stahl has announced new customer support centres in Bangladesh and Ethiopia. Rapid development in the economies of both countries has led to growth in the leather industry there and the chemicals manufacturer has said that the time is now right for it to provide “a high level of local technical advice and training facilities” in both countries.

Chief executive, Huub van Beijeren, recently opened new offices in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He said: “This new service centre supports Stahl’s vision of providing service and support to customers on a local level.”

Technicians in Dhaka will be supported by their colleagues from Europe and India and by the company’s global team. They will be able to respond quickly to customer enquiries and provide on-site support and training drawing on international experience.

With similar growth being seen in Ethiopia, the company has said it will open a new technical support centre in Akaki Kality, approximately 20 kilometres south of the capital Addis Abeba towards the end of 2012.
