According to statistics from the local customs office, Fujian’s leather luggage and bag exports grew during the first four months of the year. Exports for the period totalled $700 million, up 9.7% year on year.

Despite a drastic drop in leather luggage and bag exports in February – with exports falling to their lowest level since 2009, it seems they are starting to recover.

April exports were up 24.8% month-on-month and 5.9% year-on-year.
