On reporting the figures, Ferragamo pointed out that this made eight consecutive quarters with growth above 20%. It was particularly pleased with its retail performance in China, which registered growth of 36% compared to the first quarter last year. But it also pointed to 28% growth in Europe, mainly fuelled by travellers visiting top cities and by Ferragamo’s performance in emerging European markets.
