Italy-based swimwear and lingerie brand Divissima has launched a new line of leather bikinis.

The limited-edition swimwear collection is made from high-quality Italian leather, and is also produced in Italy. The company claims this leather is waterproof, washable and can be worn in both salt and chlorine water.

Various colour combinations are available including brown leather with black or gold trims, black with pink trims, and snakeskin print.

"This bikini will take you back to the mythical ‘80s when leather was used for many different garments," said a company spokesperson.
