Paraguay receives permission to ship leather again

The Argentinean government has lifted a ban on imports of bovine leather into the country from Paraguay. The ban came into force after the outbreak of foot and mouth disease that Paraguay reported in September 2011.
Now, along with shipments of processed meat and offal, exports from Paraguay to Argentina of bovine leather can begin again.
