India plans to explore Southeast Europe markets for opportunities involving leather garments, leathergoods and accessories.

Considering the opportunities present in the Southeast Europe region and countries such as Austria, Italy and Hungary, India’s Council of Leather Exports (CLE), with cooperation of the Indian Embassy in Croatia, is proposing to organise a Buyer Seller Meet (BSM) in Zagreb, Croatia, scheduled for 27-29 February, 2012.

Although Croatia is a small market, India’s share in Croatian imports of leathergoods and footwear, in all product categories has been steadily increasing.
