CLIA reports decrease semi-finished leather exports

China’s total export of semi-finished leather was 8,793 tons during the first 11 months of the year, representing a 22% decrease in volume, the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) has reported. In terms of value, however, exports increased by 6% to $30.7 million.

 

China’s imports of semi-finished leather increased in volume by 2.3% to 694,000 tons, and increased in value by 8.9% to $2 billion.
