China: trade surplus of $53.1b in leather sector

The total trade surplus value of China’s leather sector amounted to $53.1 billion in the first 11 months, recording a growth of 24% over the previous year, according to the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA).

 

The leather industry has also posted a 23.6% increase in exports to $59.9 billion, and imports have also seen an increase of 20.6%, rising to$6.7 billion.
