Loewe reopens Ginza store

Spanish luxury leathergoods brand Loewe has reopened its flagship store in the Ginza shopping district in Tokyo. This is the company’s first own-brand outlet in Japan.

Redesign of the Ginza store was carried out by New York-based architect Peter Marino, whom Loewe has commissioned to restyle 140 stores worldwide; the theme for the Tokyo store is a gift-box with “secret compartments” inside. It covers 400 square-metres on two floors.

One innovation is a new maintenance centre, to which customers can bring Loewe leathergoods for cleaning or repair.
