Statistics from customs in the Chinese city of Ningbo, Zhejiang province, show that 1.6 million pairs of leather shoes were exported from the city to EU during the first ten months with the value of $13.7 million. Volume and value increased by 38.4% and 86.9% respectively compared to the same period a year ago.

Leather footwear exports to EU countries accounts for 25.1% of the city’s total leather shoe exports.
