Minerva predicts a growing market in 2012

06/12/2011
Major Brazilian packer and tanning group Minerva has said it is likely to end 2011 with revenues of more than $2.3 billion, 15% up on the figure for 2010.

It has also placed its faith in demand continuing to grow in 2012. Company president, Fernando Galetti de Queiroz, has said he thinks domestic demand will be strong and that export sales will also be strong, in spite of global economic constraints, particularly in Europe.

Until the third quarter of 2011, overseas sales accounted for 54% of Minerva’s revenues.
