Contract wins mean leathergoods manufacturer is hiring

French leathergoods manufacturer Maroquinerie de Champagne has announced that new client contracts mean it will look to increase its workforce by around 50 people in the next 18 months.

The company based in
Romilly-sur-Seine in the Champagne-Ardenne region specialises in making bags and small leathergoods, especially in crocodile leather, for client organisations. Company director Dolorès Guilotte recently told local media that recent contract-wins meant it would look to hire ten new employees before the end of 2011. “We’re enjoying slow but sure growth,” she said.
