Ethiopia: ELIA aims for 100% revenue increase
The Ethiopian Leather Industries Association (ELIA) has said that it intends to achieve an almost 100% rise in its revenues during the current fiscal.
The ELIA has targeted to achieve $206 million in revenues from leather and leather product exports during the ongoing fiscal year. The revenue is expected to mainly flow from the export of finished and semi-finished leather items.
This revenue target is almost double the last fiscal’s earnings of $104 million. Last fiscal’s earnings too showed an 85% rise over previous fiscal’s earnings.
