The Pakistani and Indonesian governments are likely to sign a preferential trade agreement (PTA) which would lead to a drastic reduction in customs duty on 508 products, including those in the leather sector.
The agreement states that Indonesia will offer market access to 220 Pakistani products, including leathergoods, silk fabrics, cotton yarn and fabrics, sports leather garments and gloves.
