Turkey’s Leather Promotion Group recently declared a new plan for the global promotion of Turkish leathergoods, in a bid to boost popularity and sales.

President of the Group, Mr. Lemi Tolunay said: “Soon we will start a new campaign for the worldwide promotion of Turkish leatherwear and we want to use new faces. Already, we have contacted movie stars George Clooney, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Soon we will sign agreements with one or two of them for our worldwide advertisements.”

The effort to promote Turkish leather through film stars is not unprecedented. Three years ago, Turkish Airlines had a cooperation with Kevin Costner, with positive results.
