Argentina’s industry minister, Débora Giorgi, has announced a new deal with luxury automotive brand BMW in which the car company has agreed to help the South American country reduce its trade deficit.

In return for permission to continue bringing its high-end cars into the Argentinean market, BMW has agreed to produce leather upholstery in Argentina for several of its models, exporting the material to factories in other markets.
