Tod’s launches signature bags

Italian luxury goods brand Tod’s is launching a new line of signature bags – with an inverted dot pattern to make them instantly recognisable.

 

“All luxury accessories brands have a recognisable material, like Chanel’s quilted bag or Bottega Veneta’s woven leather,” said Tod’s CEO, Diego Della Valle, at the launch of the collection.

 

However, Tod’s existing line of bags are made of a plain, unpatterned leather. The new collection can be identified by its diamond-shaped motif with a dot punched in the middle. The matte leather bags are in muted colours – natural tan, off-white and light pastel.
