New chairman for PLGMEA

Ahmed Zulfiqar Hayat has been elected as chairman of the Pakistan Leather Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PLGMEA) for 2011-12, the fourth time he has been chosen as chairman of the association.

The board also approved the nomination of Fawad Ijaz Khan as patron-in-chief of the PLGMEA Central Office.

Syed Nadeem Abbas and Atif Ashraf were elected as vice-chairmen of the association for the northern and southern zones respectively.

The other elected members of the central executive board of PLGMEA for 2011-12 are Mohammed Saleem Ahmed, Shahid Malik,  Mukhtar Ahmed, Akram Baig, Hassan Ali Bhatti, Tasawar Hussain, Naeem Akhtar, Attique-ur-Rehman Ratra, Irfan Iqbal, Kamran Malik, Rafique Sethi, Ghulam Murtaza, Rizwan Rashid, Kamran Rashid, Tanzim Kazmi, Rashid Arshad Zahur, Faisal Gangat, Rizwan Ahmed Khan and K.M.A. Mabud.
