Turkish leather firm aims for exports of $30m
Turkey-based leather manufacturer Desa has said it aims to increase its export value to more than $30 million by the end of 2011.
Desa is licenced to produce leather for luggage company Samsonite as well as a number of other leathergoods firms.
The CEO of the company, Melih Celet, said: “We have our own retail shops in Turkey and other countries and our reputation increases every day. We expect to increase our export value by over $30 million this year.”
Desa exports mainly to USA, UK, France, Germany and Japan.
