Following the recent unveiling of Gucci’s Fiat 500, as reported on leatherbiz.com, another partnership between an Italian automotive company and an Italian fashion house has come to light.

Maserati has teamed up with Fendi to create the GranCabrio Fendi, which will be debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

One of the most distinctive features of the car’s interior is its unique leather, named Cuoio Romano leather, which has been taken from Fendi’s Selleria line. The brown leather has been used throughout the cabin and for internal details such as the instrument cluster cover, the gear lever and floor mat profiles, as well as for the included luggage set.
