US actress buys James Dean’s leather jacket

US-born actress Jennifer Aniston has bought her boyfriend, Justin Theroux, a leather jacket once owned by movie star James Dean – for $12,000.

Ms Aniston gave the piece to Mr Theroux for his 40th birthday. Fifties heartthrob James Dean, who died aged 24 in a car accident, was most celebrated for his role in Rebel Without a Cause, in which her wore his iconic leather jacket throughout.
