Swiss specialty chemicals provider TFL has announced that it will present additions to its MAXI Solutions Concept at the All China Leather Exhibition in Shanghai (September 6–8). First introduced five years ago, this set of solutions features products and technologies that, TFL says, will help tanners maximise the cutting yield of hides.

SELLATAN PA, an additive for ecological pickling and chrome tanning (using less salt), is one of the new components. Others are SELLASOL SF and SELLATAN AR, the first of which cleans and opens up hide structure where needed for SELLATAN AR to condition and fix the fibre structure.

SELLA STAR Brunello, another addition to the MAXI Solutions Concept, will enable tanners to increase the range of brown shades they can produce, extending the options towards burgundy colours.
