Brazilian packer firm Minerva has said its abattoirs slaughtered 423,000 head of cattle during the second quarter of 2011.
This represents an increase of 5.7% on the first quarter of the year and a rise of 15.9% compared to the slaughter rate the company registered in the same quarter a year ago.
