Strong June figures for leather industry in Spain

Figures for the month of June show declines in manufacturing related to Spain’s fashion industry, but the leather sector’s contribution was very much the exception.

State statistics agency INE said production of leather (hide preparation, tanning and finishing) and of leathergoods rose by 21.3% compared to the figures for June 2010.
