Low-impact leathers the focus for Smit & Zoon at ACLE

21/07/2011
Chemical supplier Smit & Zoon has announced that, at the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) in Shanghai from September 6–8, it will have on display leathers that have been made “with simple recipes of minimum possible length”.

Their production is the result of what the company calls its desire to produce leathers with as little environmental impact as possible. For the lowest possible free formaldehyde content, Smit & zoon’s Safetan range has been incorporated into all recipes.

For simultaneous environmental friendliness and enhanced performance, its range of polymer softeners has been used extensively for a variety of articles.

Visitors will find Smit & Zoon at booth E6/B03. Technical and commercial staff will be present to help with any questions.
