TFL completes first step in new labelling system

Some weeks ago, TFL France went live with the Global Harmonized System (GHS) for labelling its chemicals.

TFL decided to be fully compliant with United Nations GHS regulation as soon as it came into force in the European Union rather than wait until the transition period ends in 2015. TFL France is the first subsidiary in the group to complete the move. After the summer holidays TFL Italy and later this year TFL Brazil and TFL Argentina will follow.

The aim of GHS is to replace country-specific labels for potentially hazardous chemicals with a single system.
