New Clariant product to aid flesh-side finishing

Specialty chemicals manufacturer Clariant has developed a new product, Melio 03-W-75, to make it easier for tanners to apply a fixing coat to the flesh side of hides.

According to the company, the new product helps the fixing coat go onto the flesh side without hardening the leather or causing a double-layer effect in laminating automotive leathers.
