Zschimmer & Schwarz announces new products for ACLE

Wet end specialty chemicals manufacturer Zschimmer & Schwarz will be exhibiting at ACLE in Shanghai (September 6–8), showing new leather articles on raw material from all over the world, including China.

Members of the company’s field service team will be travelling to China for the event and will be available for meetings and discussions. Many distribution partners from China, Asia and other parts of the world will also be present at the fair.

New developments on show will include Cuirol C 115, a concentrated fatliquor for single or combination use. Even small quantities can result in “a strong softening effect with fluffy feel”, Zschimmer & Schwarz said before the exhibition, and added that the product is especially recommended for automotive upholstery, furniture, garment and nappa articles.

Novaltan VS, a powder combination of synthetic and natural tanning agents with full tanning power for all kinds of leather, will also be on display. Novaltan VS has “a very good filling effect, an even distribution in cross section and it improves embossing properties”, the company said.

Zetestan WSL, a specialty product for the improvement of tear strength, will also be part of the Zschimmer & Schwarz display in Shanghai. It is recommended for use in making all types of leather including automotive upholstery, from pickle or tanning stage to use in the main fatliquor mix. Distribution of Zetestan WSL is very even, the company said, offering “remarkable improvements of all strength criteria”.
