The Spanish province of Cádiz’s 3,000 leathergoods workers, many of them based in and around the mountain town of Ubrique, have reached a collective agreement over pay with their employers.
If they vote to accept the deal, workers will receive a 2% pay increase in 2011 and a further 3% increase next year.
