Big fall in revenues at Antichi Pellettieri

20/06/2011
Italian leathergoods brand Antichi Pellettieri has announced its results for the first quarter of 2011. Revenues fell by 61.4% to EUR 35.8 million, compared to EUR 92.5 million during the first quarter in 2010. Earnings before tax fell by 66.2% to EUR 1.5 million, compared to EUR 4.4 million for the first three months of last year.

Antichi Pellettieri explained that the large fall in revenues was down to Gruppo Mosaicon splitting off from the rest of the group in April 2010.

The company also said that 72.2% of its revenues had come from brand-owned retail channels, and that 78.1% had come from overseas, mostly (70.9% from emerging markets).
