Ms Weinstock has said her long-time love of exotic travel was the inspiration behind the new range, which includes luggage tags, iPad cases, desk accessories, and jewellery boxes. Materials include anaconda, python and boa skins.
The designer has pointed to a 1.25 metre black python jewellery cabinet, the Luxembourg, as the collection’s signature piece. The Luxembourg has eight drawers, side opening panels and a concealed mirror. It costs $25,000. Another prominent piece is the Oxford, a modern single-drawer vanity case in natural python with polished nickel or antique brass hardware. Colour treatments include naturally pigmented exotic skins through to magenta, midnight blue or canary yellow.
Celebrity fans who already own items from the collection include; Gabriel Byrne and Naomi Campbell.
