Police near Buenos Aires have recovered 369 raw hides, stolen from a delivery van on May 31 during shipment from an abattoir to a tannery in the city of Florencio Varela.

Thieves took over the delivery van, which was later recovered, without the hides. The hides, which weighed 11,300 kilos in total and had an estimated combined value of around $25,000, later turned up in a barn near Lanús. The police arrested two men.
