TFL Brazil receives ISO re-certification

In April, the Brazilian subsidiary of specialty chemicals manufacturer TFL successfully completed the audit process for re-certification for its ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 accreditation.

The audit of TFL do Brasil Indústria Química in São Leopoldo, Rio Grande do Sul, took four days and was carried out by BSI Management Systems.

TFL Brazil said its ISO accreditations help it to stay focused on customer satisfaction and environmental commitment. To achieve these objectives, it aims to provide "excellent products and services to the leather industry through research and development, seeking to exceed the expectations of our customers".

It said it also aims to introduce continuous improvement in products and processes, targeting quality, reductions in environmental impact, pollution prevention.
