New premises for growing glove brand

Glove and accessory brand Dents has opened a new factory and head office in Wiltshire, western England, to accommodate growth in the business.

Covering more than 4,000 square-metres, the new facility is close to Dents’ previous headquarters, but continued growth for the 230-year-old company has made the move necessary it said.

Company chairman, Robert Yentob, said on opening the new site: “This is a major step forward for Dents. We had outgrown our previous premises both in terms of size and also technical capability. This new facility offers larger, more efficient warehousing and offices with far higher technical specifications. The location also gives easier access to both our warehouse and factory shop.”

Dents was founded in Worcester in 1777 and now makes handbags, scarves, hats and small leathergoods as well as gloves.
