HTL Furniture makes new appointments
Singapore-based leather upholstery importer HTL Furniture has added two former LeatherTrend executives to its management team.
Bill Pirtle, most recently LeatherTrend’s vice president of sales, had been hired for the same post at HTL. In addition, Sergio Barrios, LeatherTrend’s former design director, has been named vice president of merchandising.
Both report to HTL president Brian Parker.
Mr Pirtle had been with LeatherTrend and its parent company, Robinson & Robinson, since 1998 – a tenure that included stints as president of the company’s SofaTrend and EasyTrend divisions. He earlier worked for leather upholstery resource Softline and Federated Department Stores.
Mr Barrios had been with LeatherTrend since 1999.
Robinson & Robinson and LeatherTrend ceased operations in January 2011.
