Marfrig announces new joint ventures in China

Brazilian packer and tanning group Marfrig has announced a series of new joint-venture projects in China with its local subsidiary, Keystone Foods.

Under the new programme, the company will build six new distribution centres across China to help it supply quality meat products to the restaurant sector there. There will also be a new slaughter facility that the company hopes will open in 2013.
