Leather Naturally appoints steering committee

LeatherNaturally, a movement created in 2010 to promote leather among consumers, has appointed a steering committee of five people to help take the initiative forward.

At a dinner in Hong Kong before the start of APLF 2011, Elton Hurlow of Buckman, Su Chaoying of the China Leather Industry Association, Amanda Michel of consultancy Leather Wise, Martin Ricker of Leather International and Paul Pearson from the International Council of Tanners agreed to join the steering committee.

Discussion about the management and financing of LeatherNaturally are expected to concude in the first half of this year with the start of its activities to promote leather following soon afterwards.
