Bata Pakistan Limited said its profit after tax has increased to $10.2 million during the year ended December 31, 2010 as compared to $6.9 million earned in the corresponding period in 2009.

According to the financial results sent to Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE), the company’s sales increased to $97.6 million in 2010 against $75.3 million in 2009. The cost of sales increased to $58.6 million against $44 million. The company’s profit before taxation surged to $13.9 million in 2010 as compared to $9.5 million earned in 2009.
