Leather upholstery experts join forces
Three upholstery experts have teamed up to launch a leather upholstery importer that will make its debut at the High Point Pre-market wholesale furniture trade show, North Carolina, US in March 2011.
Called Era Nouveau, the new company is the US sales arm of Chinese upholstery manufacturer Greata.
The new venture is headed by Sam Contreras and Nathan Munton, both of whom most recently worked for motion upholstery resource Man Wah Holdings. Joining them is former Natuzzi executive Tom Peper, who is overseeing product design and development.
“This group of seasoned professionals understands the importance of building long-term partnerships through its commitment to innovative products, excellent quality, expedient shipping and delivery, all of which set the groundwork for providing outstanding customer service,” Mr Contreras said.
He said the initial product rollout would consist of 25 motion seating groups, most of which feature quality, top-grain leather covers and power reclining mechanisms.
