US clothing and leather accessories manufacturer, Fossil, has announced quarterly results higher than analysts’ estimates for the eighth straight quarter, helped by strong global watch sales.

For the fourth quarter, the company, which sells leathergoods, leather belts, sunglasses and apparel, as well as watches, earned $96.7 million, compared with $70 million a year ago.

Revenue rose 33% to $701.1 million.

Analysts had expected earnings a revenue of $649.8 million.
