Trumpler invests in greater production capacity

14/02/2011
Specialty leather chemicals manufacturer Trumpler has expanded the capacity of its fatliquor production plant at Worms in Germany.

The company says its investment will allow not only increased production capacity of fatliquor products, but also “greater flexibility and control in the manufacturing process”.

It says its dependency on certain raw material suppliers will be reduced, making it easier for it to complete compliance with REACH legislation.

Included in the total investment was the replacement of an old thermal combustion plant by a new state-of-the-art installation, capable of dealing with the expanded production capacity while reducing emissions to levels considerably below the specified regulations and industrial norms.
