Leathergoods management changes at Hermès

Luxury brand Hermès is to appoint its general manager for leathergoods, Axel Dumas, to a newly created post of operations general manager, overseeing production and commercial operations across the company.

His leathergoods manufacturing role will be take by Guillaume de Seynes. The changes will come into effect in May.

Both Mr Dumas and Mr de Seynes are members of the family that owns 73% of Hermès capital. The roles of the other executive committee members will remain unchanged, the company said.
