New edition of die-cutting guide will help leathergoods manufacturers

31/01/2011
US-based software and handling systems provider Spartanics has published a new version of a technical guide it says has proved to be of great value to leathergoods manufacturers in the past, subtitled ‘How to match today’s laser-cutting technology to application requirements’.

Spartanics says leathergoods manufacturers looking for information on technology updates to combination laser cutting and rotary die cutters, interchangeable sheet-fed and roll-fed laser cutting systems, and barcode-enabled rapid changeovers with combinations of digital printers and digital die cutters will once again benefit from reading and using the guide.

Copies of the 2011 edition can be obtained by writing to: LaserCuttingGuide@spartanics.com.

This edition is more extensive and includes reports on laser die cutting technology improvements since the guide was first released in 2008, Spartanics points out and says it will enable readers to make a more informed assessment of how to find best-match cutting technologies.
