Daily sales reach $150,000 at Chinese leather market
The Chuannan Leather Market is the largest leathergoods market in China’s South Sichuan province and was officially opened on 9 January 2011.
The market was trialled from October 2010 onwards and since then, the average daily sales have reached $150,000. The market received a total investment of $52.7 million and has attracted around 250 Chinese leathergoods brands.
A spokesperson for the market has claimed the average number of visitors per day is now 5,000.
