According to the China Leather Industry Association, Qingdao city, in east China, maintained high growth in leathergoods exports to Hong Kong during 2010, experiencing a 71.9% increase during the first 11 months of the year. Shoe and bag exports to Hong Kong from the city grew by 44.2% and 48.7% respectively, while apparel exports rose by 28.6%.
